ABOUT Australian Martial Arts Coaching System (AMACS)
Struggling to find time and the right material to train your instructors? Our instructors courses are designed to take the presure off school owners because we do it all. Your assistant instructors are trained to do the job, part of their assessment is to design a class plan and delivery it along with completing the theory units. This means when they graduate they are appropriate prepared to build your business and give you more time. We also include free ongong support (resources & webinars) for graduates to keep them engaged in your club.
AMACS Version 1, is not designed at educating experienced instructors who have existing levels qualifications (Cert IV / Diplomas etc – Coaching / Fitness). This is not to say they wouldn’t get any value out of the course content but it’s not really required. Our target market is for students coming through the ranks (team leaders / assistant instructors through to seniors). It will also help Chief Instructors / School Owners who are starting out who need knowledge in a broad range of areas to better coach and manage their business.
Through the association with MAA – (Martial Arts Australia) we have also seen a need for those instructors who have been teaching for a long time, (with lot of martial arts experience) and are now wanting to obtain a nationally recognised martial arts specific qualification. AMACS provides for these instructors to do just that and whilst not take up too much of their valuable time in the process, especially with the three levels being offered.
We all know that with a better educated industry, the greater the opportunity for growth and our motivation to provide these courses. We now have affordable, accessible, relevant, recognisable and credible instructor’s courses that have a clear and direct career pathway.
AMACS online instructor development is made easy through our training courses and resource business packs. It is most attractive because it is accessible from anywhere around the globe (internet connection required) and is affordable priced.

Australian Sports Commission (ASC) RETIRES Martial Arts Instructor Courses (NCAS & NOAS Programs)
In September 2017 retired the National Coaching Accreditations Scheme and has partnered with a number of sports to pilot other more up to date programs. The Australia Martial Arts Coaching System (AMACS) has become, the ideal replacement for the Martial Arts Industry. It’s based on nationally accredited units that provides the framework for possible jobs in a number of industries as many of the skills are transferable. AMACS is cost effective for instructors providing a nationally recognised qualification, rather than a sports or industry specific endorsement only. It also provides a more realistic and cutting-edge learning approach and experience for students looking for a national qualification, a practical course that sandwiches practical skills that can be used across a range of industries. Its flexibility allows martial arts instructors to enrol from anywhere, at any time and do as much as little as they require as three levels are offered.
